Tourism is undoubtedly one of the main pillars of the Egyptian economy, being a labour-intensive industry that employs millions of Egyptians directly and indirectly, a valuable source of hard currency, and a tool for building a positive image of the nation. CC Plus was tasked by the Egyptian Ministry of Tourism and Antiquities to build a playbook for the ministry and put together a long-term strategy to promote Egypt as a tourism destination to be ready when the world starts easing travel restrictions. As the first order of business, CC Plus team prepared a synopsis on the ministry and an analysis for the industry, identified the challenges it faces, and highlighted potential solutions to overcome them.
